E-Mail Use

You are responsible for using IR for only the purposes assigned to you and as stated in agency policies. The use of e-mail is covered under the HHS-HR Manual, Chapter 4, Section B. Employee Conduct: Use of the Internet and E-Mail System.  The Internet and an HHS employee's agency e-mail address may be used for limited personal purposes in the same manner as the telephone may be used for limited personal purposes (e.g., communicating with a family member). Employees found using the Internet or e-mail for inappropriate purposes may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.
